He is the son of Emelito and Margie Lingo of Brgy. Quezon. He finished high school at San Nicolas Academy. He was a working-student during high school, serving as a hired help at the parish convent/sacristan/altar boy. After his first year in college, he had to stop attending school in 2012 due to financial constraints. With TMI's assistance, he was able to resume in 2013. He is in his last year of collegiate training. In April 2015, he posted a heartfelt message on TMI's FB page as TMI Jover. He expressed his deep gratitude to "TMI, my second family" for the financial and moral support he has received, especially from his main sponsor, TMI VP-USA/Canada/Overseas, Edgar Reyes.

She graduated with 3rd honors from Hacienda National High School in 2013. She and her family live in Brgy. Tolingon. She is now 19 years old. She has two other siblings. To support their family, her father would juggle jobs as laborer, farmer, fisherman and sometimes as a hired hand at a small-scale mine in Agusan del Norte.
